Hi Everyone! Sensei Dean here, and I wanted to give everyone some updates.

Most of you know by now that our building was bought recently and the landlord has asked us, after over 6 years at our current location, to immediately vacate the premises. This has been a stressful time, but luckily our friend of the dojo, Sensei Mike Orsini, has agreed to share his dojo with us! There are innumberable benefits to this arrangement.

The new address is at the current RI Self-Defense building in Johnston, only 5 minutes from our current location. The interior is a beautiful, clean, large, and professional dojo. The address is 15 Industrail Lane, Johnston.

This week (the week of February 13th) is our last week on Atwood Ave. Saturday night we will be having a small party at the current dojo. Next week we will be closed for February vacation, and we will reopen on Tuesday March 1st at the new location.

There will be some challenges with the move, and I ask all parents for their patience. There will be a new schedule. (I will change the current schedule on the website after this Saturday.)

For all students age 6+, from White Belt to 1/2 Green Belt, your classes will now be held on Tuesdays at 6pm, Thursdays at 5pm, and Saturdays at 9:30am.

For students age 6+ that are Green Belt and above, your class will now meet Tuesdays at 6:45pm and Thursdays at 6pm.

Students age 3-5 years old, unfortunately, we will no longer be holding Lil’ Pandas classes for the time being. However, Sense Mike teaches a program for that age on Tuesday nights: one at 4:15pm and one at 5pm. Let me know if you are interested, so I can attend and help transition students to the new program.

I realize the schedule is a bit more limited, and I will add / move changes as we move forward.
